Job summary

Healing Arts Center is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to lead one of our outpatient clinic locations while continuing to provide patient care. You will work closely with PTAs and the clinic team to set the tone, manage operations, and ensure the clinic runs smoothly.

You will be the clinical leader responsible for the day-to-day success of the satellite location, maintaining high standards of care and driving positive outcomes for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist with leadership experience.
• Experience leading outpatient clinic operations and teams.
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the satellite clinic on a day-to-day basis.
• Continue practicing as a Physical Therapist.

Healing Arts Center is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist to lead one of our outpatient clinic locations.

And by “lead,” we do not mean:

Congratulations, you are now Clinic Director. Here is an extra spreadsheet and absolutely no authority.

We mean actually lead it.

You will treat patients.

You will work alongside PTAs and other members of the clinic team.

You will help set the tone.

You will know what is happening in your clinic.

You will notice when something is beginning to go sideways before somebody from another location has to discover it.

You will help solve problems.

You will help develop people.

And over time, we want you to feel some genuine ownership over whether your location succeeds.

First, let's acknowledge something.

The physical therapy industry has developed some fairly stupid habits.

We have somehow decided that a person with a doctorate, years of clinical education, and responsibility for actual human beings should spend large portions of the day:

• racing between treatment tables,
• clicking boxes,
• chasing units,
• fixing scheduling problems,
• answering questions nobody else wants to answer,
• and then finishing notes at home because apparently seeing your family is an optional benefit.

We aren't interested in building that.

We are also not interested in the opposite extreme, where "work-life balance" becomes code for nobody taking responsibility for anything.

There is a middle ground.

Being a professional adult and running a good clinic.
