Job Title: Clinical Director (Physical Therapist)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and driven Clinic Director to oversee the operations of a busy outpatient rehabilitation clinic while continuing to provide exceptional physical therapy services. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist who enjoys balancing patient care with team development, operational oversight, and strategic clinic growth. The successful candidate will promote a collaborative workplace culture, maintain high clinical standards, and ensure an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinic Leadership & Operations
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the outpatient clinic to ensure efficient workflow and high quality service delivery.
- Monitor clinic performance, scheduling efficiency, and productivity to support operational success.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment by mentoring and supporting clinical and administrative staff.
- Partner with organizational leadership to implement initiatives that improve clinic performance and patient satisfaction.
Patient Assessment & Treatment
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Design individualized treatment programs based on clinical findings, functional goals, and evidence-based practices.
- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions while monitoring patient progress and modifying care plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
Community & Referral Development
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with physicians, referral partners, and community organizations.
- Support business development efforts by promoting the clinic's rehabilitation services and strengthening referral networks.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and quality assurance requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
Licensure
- Current and active Florida Physical Therapist license.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage clinic operations while maintaining a high standard of patient centered care.
- Demonstrated commitment to mentoring staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
