Job summary

Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus in Oriskany, NY. The role offers $27–$32/hour with full-time benefits and opportunities for career development.

You will work with licensed Physical Therapists to help residents improve mobility, build strength, and reach rehabilitation goals through hands-on treatment and teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Active New York PTA license is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative care team.
• New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Follow established plans of care based on individualized resident goals.
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.

Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands‑on treatment that helps residents improve mobility, build strength, and make meaningful progress toward their rehabilitation goals.

What You’ll Do
