Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Eastern Star Home and Campus therapy team in Oriskany, NY. You will work under licensed PTs to help residents improve movement and independence, following individualized plans of care.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, documentation, and collaboration with nursing and other professionals. NY PTA license is required and new grads are encouraged to apply.

Competenze

• Active New York PTA license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative care team.
• New graduate PTAs are encouraged to apply.

Mansioni

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer and mobility activities.
• Follow established plans of care based on resident goals.
• Observe response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT.
• Reinforce exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with therapy, nursing and other healthcare professionals.
