Safire Rehab of Northtowns in Tonawanda, NY is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role. You will work under a licensed PT to help residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence during recovery.

Qualifications

• Active New York PTA license required.
• New graduate PTAs are welcome to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist residents with strengthening, gait training, balance, transfers, endurance, and mobility activities.
• Follow individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Observe resident performance and communicate progress or changes to the clinical team.
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with PT, OT, SLP, nursing, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the rehabilitation team at Safire Rehab of Northtowns. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on therapy and helping residents improve strength, mobility, balance, and independence throughout the recovery process.

What You’ll Do
