Post Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the Eastern Star Home and Campus therapy team in Oriskany, NY. You will work under licensed PTs to help residents improve movement and independence, following individualized plans of care.

The role emphasizes hands-on therapy, documentation, and collaboration with nursing and other professionals. NY PTA license is required and new grads are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Post Rehab is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to become part of the therapy team at Eastern Star Home and Campus. Work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands‑on treatment that helps residents improve mobility, build strength, and make meaningful progress toward their rehabilitation goals.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Guide residents through strengthening, gait, balance, transfer, endurance, and mobility activities
• Follow established plans of care based on individualized resident goals
• Observe resident response to treatment and communicate progress to the supervising PT
• Reinforce therapeutic exercises and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain clear and timely clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively with therapy, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
