Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Assist patients to improve mobility, strength, balance and functional independence.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and gait training.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress per policy.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans and home programs.
• Maintain safety and infection control during therapy.
