Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist across diverse clinical settings including outpatient and inpatient care.

The PTA will implement individualized treatment plans, help patients improve mobility and strength, and educate patients and caregivers while collaborating with the rehab team to ensure safe, effective care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice; BLS may be required per facility policy.
• Experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Instruct and supervise therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and use of assistive devices.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress in accordance with policies.

Education

Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

PTA license in the state of practice

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
