Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote patient wellness across outpatient, inpatient, SNF, rehab, and home health settings.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited PTA associate degree, current state PTA licensure, and BLS certification or policy-based equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required from an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in the state of practice required.
• BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising PT.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
• Instruct and supervise therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of assistive devices.
• Document treatment sessions and patient progress in accordance with policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nurses to coordinate care.
