Job summary

The Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in a skilled nursing facility in New Jersey. The PTA will assist the PT, evaluate and treat residents with a focus on mobility, pain relief, and wellness, with independent practice under supervision.

Candidate must hold an active state license, have a passion for geriatric care, and be prepared to participate in functional activities to improve residents' experiences.

Qualifications

• Active state license as Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Geriatric care passion and SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote wellness.
• Support residents in functional activities to improve experience in the skilled nursing facility.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
