Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric care team in a skilled nursing facility.

The PTA will assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote wellness, evaluating and treating residents independently with a passion for geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New Jersey PTA license.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness in residents of the skilled nursing facility.
• Provide geriatric-focused therapeutic activities to support residents’ daily living.
