Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing facility teams serving NYC and surrounding areas. You will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver therapy, follow the Plan of Care, and support patient education to improve function and cognition.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.

Physical Therapy Assistant Requirements:

• Current NYS PTA License and Registration
• EMR Competence
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
