Job summary

Flagstar Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehab Department in state-of-the-art skilled nursing facilities across NYC and surrounding areas. PTAs collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver treatments and educate patients and families to improve function and cognition.

We offer options for direct employment or independent contractor status. Hourly pay ranges from $34-$36 (W-2) or $38-$40 (1099), with weekly pay, paid orientation, and flexible schedules

Qualifications

• Current NYS PTA License and Registration.
• Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility.
• EMR Competence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the PT Supervisor and follow the established Plan of Care.
• Provide therapy services to SNF patients with conditions such as TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, cancer, orthopedic surgeries.

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Skilled Nursing Facility

Now Staffing Physical Therapist Assistants for Rehab Department in state-of-the-art SNFs throughout NYC and Surrounding Areas.

PTAs work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary team to perform treatments and patient/family education to improve the physicality and cognition of their patients and positively impact their ability to function in their daily lives.

We offer the opportunity for Direct Employment with our agency or to Be Your Own Boss as an Independent Contractor.

Hourly Pay Rate: $34-$36 Hourly (W-2), $38-$40 Hourly (1099)

Physical Therapy Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate with daily with PT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.
• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
