NORTH TEXAS THERAPY & HOMECARE is seeking a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric PT services in patients’ homes or daytime facilities in Texas. The role requires licensure, an associate degree, and at least six months of full-time clinical experience with pediatric patients.

Responsibilities include supervising visits with the PT, coordinating with the care team, and planning care to meet intervention goals. Strong collaboration and ongoing education are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate degree and Texas CPTA license.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience required.
• Home health experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in patients' home or daytime facility for ages 0–21, at least twice weekly, per physician orders.
• Schedule supervision visits with supervising PT per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plan care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
• Stay updated on knowledge by educational opportunities and publications; participate in professional organizations.
• Enhance PT reputation by ownership of tasks and adding value to the role.

• Associates degree from an accredited college or university
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Physical Therapy Assistant
• 6 months full-time clinical experience
• Pediatrics experience
• Home Health experience preferred
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
• Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient
• Plans for care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.
