NORTH TEXAS THERAPY & HOMECARE seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric PT services in home or daytime facilities for patients aged 0–21, with at least two visits per week as prescribed. You will schedule supervising visits with the supervising PT and collaborate with the care team to meet patient goals.

Ideal candidates have pediatric experience, Texas PTA licensure, and a preference for home health.

Formación

• Must hold Texas Certified Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Associate degree from an accredited college or university.
• 6 months full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders.
• Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising PT according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the physical therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
• Enhances physical therapy reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment.

• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.
