Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant for a travel assignment in Elma, WA. The PTA will provide physical therapy services, implement treatments, and document care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and in line with the physician's plan of care.

Candidates must be licensed as a PTA in Washington, be a graduate of an accredited PTA program, and ideally have one year of prior PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• One year of prior PTA experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Implement and document treatment in accordance with the physician's plan of care.

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapy services including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's plan of care.
