Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for travel assignments in Fresno, CA. The PTA will provide physical therapy services under the direction of a Physical Therapist, following the physician's plan of care, with a 40-hour work week.

Requirements include PTA licensure, graduation from an accredited PTA program, CPR if applicable, and maintaining compliance with health and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapist Assistant.
• One year of PTA experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate as required by contract or regulation.
• Meet federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services including treatment, implementation and documentation under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
• Performs services in accordance with the physician's plan of care.

The Physical Therapy Assistant provides physical therapyservices including treatment, implementation and documentation under thedirection of the Physical Therapist and in accordance with the physician's planof care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in thestate of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Physical TherapyAssistant
• One (1) year of prior professional Physical TherapyAssistant experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
