Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in Texas is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools, promoting growth and functional independence.

The role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN) and a collaborative team with opportunities for professional development. Compensation reflects market rates with strong benefits. Texas licensure is required or planned at start date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Texas PTA license or eligible to obtain licensure by start date.
• One year of experience preferred, new graduates welcome.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist according to plans of care.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, ROM, endurance, gait, and independence.
• Educate and train families/caregivers on exercises, positioning, mobility, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising PT.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
