Zusammenfassung

Elara Caring is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our home-based care team in Indiana. You will deliver therapy per the prescribed plan, assist patients to improve mobility and independence, and monitor progress while coordinating with the supervising Physical Therapist.

You will educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe use of assistive devices. Travel to patient homes is required, with a focus on safe, high-quality care in compliance with state guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• Current, unrestricted PTA license
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program approved by the American Therapy Association
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred

Aufgaben

• Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan
• Help patients work toward therapy goals to improve mobility and independence
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques
• Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices like canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics
• Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services per physician orders and state guidelines
