Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Michigan is seeking a licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient care at two Michigan locations. The PTA will work under a licensed PT and provide high-quality therapy to patients with a focus on functional outcomes.

Split-site employment, Monday–Friday schedule, with a sign-on bonus and debt relief options available. Outpatient experience is required; growth opportunities include CEU programs and internal mobility.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited PTA program.
• Must have passed CAPTE national examination.
• Licensed PTA in state or license in process.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PTA services under licensed PT supervision.
• Provide patient care in accordance with State Practice Act and Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients to enhance relations.

Overview

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 6014 W. Maple Rd, Bloomfield, MI and 55 Northpoind Dr, #4, Walled Lake, MI (Split between locations)

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-7pm

Compensation: $25-$40hr depending on experience

Incentives: $5,000 sign-on bonus and/or $200 per month in uncapped student debt relief

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program

• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)

• CPR certification
