Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in West Bloomfield, MI. The role offers weekdays coverage with a per diem schedule and compensation ranging from $25 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.

The position requires an accredited PTA program graduate, CAPTE certification, and a valid PTA license or in-process status, along with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services for patients per policy and act guidelines.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to expand client relations.

Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient PRN

Location: 6014 W. Maple Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48322

Schedule: PRN, weekdays (Mon-Fri)

Compensation: $25 - $40 /hour depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
