Job summary

Select Medical's NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a dedicated clinical team. This full-time role offers a structured schedule across multiple weekdays with competitive hourly compensation and an emphasis on patient-centered care.

The PTA will work under a licensed therapist to implement treatments, monitor progress, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and center staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Certified by CAPTE via national exam.
• Active PTA license in state or license in process.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PT services for patients and caregivers following PT practices and Select Medical policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations.

Position:Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 12 Troy Rd. Delaware, OH 43015

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday/Wednesday (10am-7pm), Tuesday/Friday (7am-4pm), Thursday (8am-5pm)

Compensation: $26.00 - $40.00, hourly, based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
