NovaCare Rehabilitation’s outpatient orthopedic center seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to join a respected clinical team. Split between Bloomfield and Walled Lake locations, you will deliver supervised, high-quality PT services to patients of all ages during a Monday–Friday schedule.

Must have outpatient experience, be licensed or in process, and hold a CAPTE-approved PTA credential with CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have outpatient experience to be considered.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• Passed CAPTE national exam for PTAs.
• CPR certification is required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Deliver high-quality PT services for patients and families.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients and staff.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: 6014 W. Maple Rd, Bloomfield, MI and 55 Northpoind Dr, #4, Walled Lake, MI (Split between locations)

Schedule: Monday-Friday with hours between 7am-7pm

Compensation: $25-$40hr depending on experience

Incentives: $5,000 sign-on bonus and/or $200 per month in uncapped student debt relief

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
