Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in Seneca, PA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to provide outpatient care at our orthopedic center. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to deliver high-quality therapy to patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) with state license.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CAPTE national exam passed for PTAs.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients across ages and abilities in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Implement therapy services per clinical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive patient and center relations.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: 3338 PA-257 Seneca, PA 16346

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Compensation: $20.00-$27.00/Hr. commensurate with experience

Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
