Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Toledo, IA is seeking a licensed or eligible Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, you will deliver high-quality care to patients of all ages and abilities in a supportive clinical setting.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• CAPTE national exam required or in process for PTA.
• Active PTA license or license in process.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm

Compensation: $25-$27hr

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
