Job summary

Select Physical Therapy, a outpatient orthopedic center in St. Joseph, MO, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our clinical team.

You will provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist and support rehabilitative services for diverse patients. The position offers a starting compensation of $26 per hour with potential for higher pay based on experience, plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus and debt-relief incentive.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by CAPTE.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
• Deliver high-quality PTA services per PT guidelines and center policies.
• Maintain positive interactions with patients and center staff.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8-5pm

Compensation: $26/hr and up depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
