Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center in Marshalltown, IA. You will provide patient care under supervision of a licensed PT to help patients regain function.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule (7am–6pm), $23–$29 hourly pay, and up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus with debt relief. Benefits include PTO, medical/dental/vision, company‑matched 401(k), life and disability coverage, CEU opportunities, and internal mobility across 1900 centers.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed CAPTE exam for PTAs.

• Deliver high-quality PT services per policies and procedures.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support client relations.

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: 55 Unity Point Way, Suite 70, Marshalltown, IA 50158

Schedule: Monday-Friday hours between 7am-6pm

Compensation: $23-$29hr depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
