Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient orthopedic center in Toledo, IA. You will work under a licensed PT to deliver personalized care, restore function, and help patients return to sports, work, and daily activities.

New graduates are encouraged to apply. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with a $25–$27 per hour compensation and a path for mentorship, growth, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Passed the CAPTE national examination for PTAs.
• Valid state PTA license (or license in process).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state law.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities per policy.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients and support staff relationships.

Education

CAPTE national examination passed

Valid state PTA license

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
