Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to float between West Des Moines clinics. The role supports patient care under a licensed PT, with evenings until 6pm and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation ranges from $25–$29/hr, plus a sign-on bonus and debt-relief incentives, making this a strong outpatient orthopedic opportunity. Join a respected clinical team focused on personalized care to help patients restore function and return to sports, work, and daily

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in good standing or in process.
• Ability to float across West Des Moines clinics as needed.
• CPR certification and CAPTE eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services under supervision.
• Support patients across clinics in West Des Moines as a float PTA.
• Maintain treatment plans and document progress per policy.
• Collaborate with licensed PTs to ensure patient safety and outcomes.

Education

College graduate of an accredited PTA program

CAPTE national exam for PTAs

Active state PTA license (or in process)

CPR certification

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.

• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
