Job summary

Select Physical Therapy in Ottumwa, IA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a part-time role in our outpatient orthopedic center. You will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to deliver high-quality PT services and contribute to positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include implementing PT plans, maintaining professional interactions with patients and clinic staff, and adhering to policy procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed PTA or in process
• Pass national PTA exam (CAPTE)
• Valid PTA license in state or in process
• CPR certification

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Compensation: $24hr-$26hr

• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
