Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient care at our State Center, IA center. The PTA will work Monday through Friday, 7am–5pm, under the supervision of a licensed PT to deliver high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.

The position offers compensation of $23–$29 per hour depending on experience, with a $5,000 sign-on incentive and monthly debt-relief support, plus a comprehensive benefits package aimed at career growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Must have passed CAPTE national exam for PTAs.
• Must hold a valid state PTA license (or in process).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as required by state act.
• Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients in outpatient setting.
• Maintain positive interactions with centers, patients, and staff to support care delivery.

Schedule: Monday-Friday hours between 7am-5pm

Compensation: $23-$29hr depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

Qualifications

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
