Job summary

Barrows Physical Therapy, a member of Therapy Partners Group, is seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team in California. You will work closely with licensed therapists to support patient-centered care and personalized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with patients and conduct therapeutic exercises as directed.
• Assist therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and modalities.
• Document patient progress and report changes to the therapist.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.

We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to patient-centered care, lifelong learning, and collaboration within a supportive clinical team. You’ll work with a diverse caseload of orthopedic, sports, post-surgical, and chronic pain patients — helping each person reach their unique goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
