Job summary

Silver Creek Physical Therapy is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The role supports therapists in delivering compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as PTA from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility to practice as PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Patient Follow Up: perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the PT.
• Treatment Planning: assist PT in developing and implementing patient plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: implement manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: use Raintree, monitor and document patient progress, report changes to PT.
• Patient Education: educate patients and families on exercises, pain management, and care plans.
• Professional Atmosphere: collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Follow Up: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Pay: $40-44/hour depending on experience

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
