Job summary

El Dorado Physical Therapy, part of Therapy Partners Group, seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team in California. You will assist in implementing treatment plans, administer therapies, and educate patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up with patients; perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed.
• Assist in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Document progress using the charting system and communicate changes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management and care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient FollowUp: Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as instructed by the physical therapist.
• Treatment Planning:Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing patient treatment plans.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, modalities, and patient education.
• Documentation: While using Raintree, Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions, reporting changes to the physical therapist.
• Patient Education:Educate patients and families on exercises, pain management techniques, and care plans
• Professional Atmosphere: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant from accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
