Qualifications

• PT degree from an accredited program.
• Current state license or eligibility for licensure.
• 1–2 years of clinical experience, preferably SNF.
• Strong knowledge of PT principles, techniques, modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Position: Physical Therapist

Salary Range: $40-43 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shifts

Location: 86 bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) in a beautiful rural setting on the northern side of the White Mountains of New Hampshire

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at our 86 bed skilled nursing facility in the scenic and peaceful setting of the northern White Mountains of New Hampshire. In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population to help them regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' individual needs and goals
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients achieve their treatment goals
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to continue at home
• Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and techniques in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
