Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC – Canton, MS is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our onsite therapy team at a local automotive manufacturer. This full-time role focuses on developing individualized treatment plans and delivering evidence-based care in a fast-paced industrial setting.

The ideal candidate holds a PT degree, active state license, CPR/BLS, and can work independently and in a team, with strong communication and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing or ability to obtain.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date; maintain proof of certification.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and walk as needed during shifts.
• High level of professionalism in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team while maintaining confidentiality and using MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized PT treatment plans with functional goals.
• Review patient information, evaluate impact, and communicate treatment process.
• Revise treatment plans as needed for injuries or musculoskeletal conditions.
• Instruct patients and/or family in exercises and procedures to continue after discharge.
• Document appropriately according to company policies and state and federal regulations.

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven Physical Therapist to join our team to help us provide onsite therapy support at a local automotive manufacturer in Canton, MS. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive, supportive, and innovative team!

What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
• Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating the treatment process
• Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
• Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
• The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• The ability to stand or sit throughout the entire assigned shift, and walk for extended periods
• A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
• The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
• Be able to maintain confidentiality
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday
• 4 AM- 2 PM
• 4-day work week!
