Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Rehabilitation Solutions, Inc. in Griffin, GA, seeks a Physical Therapist to join a stand-alone orthopedic facility. Open to new grads and experienced PTs, with flexible full-time options of 30–40 hours weekly.

You will develop individualized treatment plans, guide patients, and collaborate with a supportive team. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required; CPR/BLS and Georgia licensure hold strong emphasis.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy with active licensure in Georgia or ability to obtain.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain.
  • Strong communication and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout shift.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs.
  • Review information, evaluate impact, and communicate treatment progress.
  • Revise treatment plans as needed for injuries or musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Instruct patient and/or family in exercises to continue after discharge.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete documentation per policies and regulations.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
    • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
    • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
    • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
  • Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
  • Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or higher in Physical Therapy
  • The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
  • A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Eligibility to Work:

This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.).
