Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals using therapeutic exercise and modalities
• Review available patient information, evaluate progress, and communicate treatment plans
• Revise treatment plans as needed for injuries or musculoskeletal conditions
• Instruct patient and family/caregiver in exercises to continue after discharge
• Delegate tasks and supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians
• Complete documentation in accordance with policies and regulations

Physical Therapist – ProgressiveHealth of Indiana, LLC –Henderson, KY

Are you an energetic and results driven PRN Physical Therapist wanting to provide therapeutic care to the patients of a multi-setting hospital? Experienced PT’s and new graduates are welcome to apply! This is a wonderful opportunity to expand knowledge and experience in aclinical setting. For the right therapist, this position can grow into a part-time or full-time quickly. PRN position will include scheduled weekend rotation. What will you be doing in this role?

• Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
• Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
• Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist specific to the State of Kentucky
• Master's degree or higher as a Physical Therapist
• Current CPR certification
