Job summary

Union Hospital Therapy, LLC is seeking a full-time Site Coordinator - Physical Therapist to join our outpatient team in Marshall, IL. You will provide therapeutic and holistic care, develop individualized treatment plans, and supervise PTA and rehab staff.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with current state licensure and CPR/BLS. A strong background in communication, teamwork, and computer skills is essential to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Current state licensure/registration in good standing.
  • CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start of employment.
  • Advanced training in neuro care, sports medicine, etc. is a bonus.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit through the shift.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs using exercise and modalities.
  • Review patient information, evaluating impact and communicating the treatment process.
  • Revise treatment plans as needed for various conditions.
  • Instruct patients and families in exercises and procedures for continued care after discharge.
  • Delegate tasks and supervise PTAs and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete documentation per company policies and federal/state regulations.

Site Coordinator - Physical Therapist– Union Hospital Therapy, LLC – Marshall, IL

We are looking for an energetic and results-driven full-time Site Coordinator - Physical Therapist to join our team in a clinical setting. You will provide therapeutic and holistic care for our patients and coverage for the outpatient divisions.This is a wonderful opportunity to expand your knowledge and experience. What will you be doing in this role?
  • Developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan based on patient needs containing achievable functional goals by using therapeutic exercise and modalities, as necessary
  • Reviewing available patient information, evaluating the impact of the assessment, and communicating of the treatment process
  • Revising treatment plans, as needed, throughout the treatment process for patients suffering from injuries, or muscle, nerve, joint, and/or bone diseases
  • Establishing and instructing patient and/or family/caregiver in exercises and therapeutic procedures to be continued following discharge
  • Delegating tasks and supervising physical therapist assistants (PTA) and rehabilitation technicians
  • Completing appropriate documentation according to Company/department policies and procedures along with adhering to federal and state regulations

Our ideal candidate would:
  • Have a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Have the required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • Have some advanced education, training, or certification is a bonus (neuro care, sports medicine, etc.)
  • Have the ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the entire assigned shift
  • Have a high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
  • Have strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
