Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, helping them reach the highest level of physical independence.

The role includes coordinating care with a broader rehabilitation team, supervising assistants, and ensuring adherence to state licensure and safety standards. GA license and BCLS are required; 2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or GA Compact privileges.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, helping them attain the highest level of physical independence.
• Performs physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
