Job summary

Westland Distributing is a well-established wholesale distributor leading the Manufactured Home parts industry. We seek a Territory Sales Manager to grow the Phoenix, AZ branch by maximizing revenue from repeat customers and by sourcing new active accounts.

The role requires developing a territory plan, regular in-person calls, and weekly overnight travel to maximize selling time while collaborating with the Branch Manager and staff to hit sales targets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven performance in an Outside Sales role.
• Outgoing relationship builder who quickly and easily connects with people.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills with ability to close the sale.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Calls on current accounts and prospects in person to generate sales and to develop positive relationships with decision makers.
• Develops an organized territory plan and balances face-to-face interactions with new prospects and existing customers.
• Weekly overnight travel to call on accounts within the territory.
• Uses internal tracking tools to document sales appointments, leads, opportunities, and follow-up information.
• Provides training and information on Westland products and pricing to customers and pull-through business.
• Assists new customers in account setup, orders, delivery, and billing procedures.
• Acts as a liaison between customers and internal Westland departments to resolve issues promptly.
• Gathers feedback on product needs, customer concerns, and market changes for sales planning.
• Participates in developing sales forecast and territory action plans to meet targets.
• Attends trade shows, conventions, and association meetings to build relationships and educate prospects.
