Job summary

Banner Health Corporate is seeking a Registered Nurse in Medical Oncology for an outpatient clinic in Phoenix, AZ. You will assess patients, manage symptoms, and provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

Work week is Monday–Friday, 8am–4:30pm, with potential for 4 ten-hour shifts. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated cancer care with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in the clinical area for which you are applying is desired.
• Banner Registry and Travel acute care positions require a minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Arizona-specific clearances may be required for certain Banner roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized nursing care.
• Coordinate follow-up care and patient education.
• Collaborate with oncologists and specialists for integrated care.
• Document care plans and patient responses accurately.
• Provide supervision and guidance to other licensed staff as needed.
