• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• Temporary/interim RN license or compact licensure acceptable.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required in some Banner facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental and discharge needs.
• Formulate care plans with realistic goals in collaboration with patient and family.
• Deliver direct patient care and coordinate activities of the healthcare team.
• Communicate effectively to ensure continuity of care across shifts and disciplines.
• Document nursing care, patient status and responses timely in the medical record.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice within the unit.
