Michigan Medicine seeks a Training Specialist Inter to organize and deliver phlebotomy training across adult and pediatric procedures, with emphasis on standardized processes and competency development.

You will manage education programs, update procedures, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure consistency and quality of training, while embracing a LEAN approach in Satellite Support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2–5 years of professional training experience.
• Requires ability to stand, walk, sit, hand pipetting for long periods and to lift 25 lbs.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree with equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, SCCSoft, and Epic Systems Software.

Responsabilités

• Provide high quality phlebotomy training for adult, pediatric, capillary and alternate venous access devices.
• Update phlebotomy procedures to align with CLSI guidelines and inpatient/outpatient practices.
• Develop and manage the continuing education program for Satellite Support personnel.
• Verify competencies and coordinate with supervisors to ensure staff readiness.
• Attend professional development classes every six months to enhance training skills.
• Coordinate training materials and master control workflows with management.
