Michigan Medicine is seeking an Allied Health Associate Supervisor to oversee phlebotomists, ensure high-quality specimen collection, and uphold regulatory standards. The role involves direct supervision, training, and coordination across ambulatory or inpatient units.

Responsibilities include patient-centered service, data entry in SoftLab/MiChart, and maintaining safety and professional conduct. Evening shifts with weekend/holiday rotation are expected.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• At least 3 years of Phlebotomy experience.

Responsabilidades

• Customer Service: respond quickly and professionally in stressful situations; model patient-centered care.
• Specimen Collection: collect specimens in ambulatory or inpatient units, including complex venipunctures.
• Computer Data Entry: use SoftLab/SoftID LIS and MiChart for ordering and data entry.
• Safety: model safe work practices and mentor staff accordingly.
• Communication: strong written and verbal communication, use Outlook for memos and coordination.
• Personnel: schedule staff, approve PTO, track attendance and conduct evaluations.
• Training And Quality Assurance: assist training, monitor quality and participate in QA projects.
• Professional Development: participate in meetings, arrange staff training and development.
