Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Fresno, CA is hiring a Phlebotomist Group Lead to oversee daily operations in our patient service and phlebotomy teams. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with responsibilities including specimen collection, data entry, and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This role requires state phlebotomy licensure (CA) and leadership abilities; successful candidates may be eligible for annual performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Travel and flexible hours; weekends/holidays/overtime as needed.
• CA phlebotomy licensure required; NHA licenses not accepted in CA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter billing information and collect payments when required.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and temperature logs.
• Provide onboarding and training for new staff.
• Lead and mentor PSR staff on-site.
