Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist Group Lead in Lake Elsinore, CA, with a Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule. A state phlebotomy license is required; NHA licenses are not accepted in CA, WA, NV.

The role involves mentoring staff, collecting specimens, data entry, and coordinating test operations across PSC/IOP sites, with opportunities for annual bonus and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Seven years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, on‑call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel to multiple sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per procedures, including drug screens and biometric screenings.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and data entry of patient information.
• Coach and mentor staff, lead on-site PSR activities.
• Support with inventory, scheduling, and SOP adherence.
• Communicate with clients and document issues.
