Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Oversee daily activities of phlebotomists and students with a focus on safe patient care.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure timely specimen collection and staff coverage.
• Serve as technical expert for collection procedures and assist with difficult draws.
• Sign off on training and annual competency documentation.
• Assist manager with schedule changes and staffing improvements.
