Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent; related Associate's degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years as a phlebotomy lead or equivalent supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy regulatory requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manages direct report staff including scheduling, interviewing, and performance reviews.
  • Supports policy implementation and ensures compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors service expectations for customers and staff.
  • Collects and communicates department quality data to QA or leadership.
  • Administers payroll tasks timely and accurately.
