Labcorp in Mobile, AL is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists and oversee Patient Service Centers and client locations. You will manage patient flow, scheduling, payroll, and performance, while collaborating with HR on employee relations and disciplinary actions.

The role emphasizes leadership, exceptional service, and the ability to develop others, with a focus on maintaining high standards and coordinating across internal teams to ensure quality patient care.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3 years or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports.
• 5 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary.
• Coordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking.
• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals.
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions.
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions.
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management.
